What Is A-Group
A-Group is a higher standards group that focuses more on the milsim aspects of play.
A-Group is definitely not for the average player or anyone who does not want a more "hard core" experience.
We designed A-Group to fit the needs of the few and deliver a challenging experience in each and every match.
A-Group ROE
*400fps, All Replicas (except snipers), NO MED
*500fps, All Sniper/DMR, 100' MED -- a backup weapon MUST be carried by snipers.
*All shots within 20' must be in Semi Auto. OVERSHOOTING IS NOT TOLERATED
*Special SMG Status may be given to qualifying replicas allowing them to use full automatic fire in CQB. A qualifying replica must be compact and designed for CQB and must possess a retractable stock, folding stock, or no stock. Ultimately, it is up to the discretion of the admin to qualify these replicas on a case by case basis.
*Semi-Auto is REQUIRED inside buildings
*Bang Kills, or safety kills, are not required, although highly encouraged.
*Players are required to use face protection. All Ages, no exceptions.
A-Group's Format
A Group uses a squad leader system to assign missions. Players who operate teams or are willing to lead are encouraged to step up as a "squad leader". Squad roles are handed out as follows: 1 Medic per squad, 1 Support per squad. Up to two fireteams per squad will be used. 9-13 men is the squad size
Players are assigned to squads which are assigned mission objectives. Each game may have 1 or more objectives to complete and each squad will attempt to complete its own mission before assisting with other missions.
Games last approximately 20 minutes on average, but may be longer depending on the field that is being used.
Medics and Respawns
A-Group does not use a "respawn" system
Instead, each player may carry up to two personal IFAK bandages in any pouch on his rig. When hit, he will call for his squad medic to come and tie one of his own bandages onto one of his two arms before returning to battle.
If a man can not get medical aid within 5 minutes, or an enemy player is able to knife kill him before medical help arrives, that player is considered KIA and removed from the match.
A-Group Restrictions
*Hicap magazines are prohibited in A-Group unless the player is filling a support role. Support roles are assigned by squad and not guaranteed. Please sign up to play support.
ALL OTHER PLAYERS MUST USE MIDCAP MAGAZINES
Bandage Specifications
Bandages must be made of ACE bandage material, or a sturdy gauze. At least 2'' in width and at least 24'' in length. Bandages may not be pre-tied or consist of a pre-made elastic band.
Once a player is considered KIA, he can return his used bandages to his IFAK kit.
Players may also share their bandages with a teammate who does not have any.
Only the medic may carry more than 2 bandages. Extra bandages should be given to the medic for safe keeping until after the match.
A-Group Activities
A-Group is currently taking part in OP: Freedom Zone
Given the unpredictability of skirmishes for uniform, no uniform requirement standards are being set, although players are encouraged to dress in coherent green or tan uniforms, the sides will be determined by arm band
